USAW Weightlifting Club

The Bar Gym's Youth Weightlifting Team is a USAW Affiliated Club Team.

Our club focuses on Balance, and Explosiveness in Snatch and the Clean Jerk while keeping our endurance high so they can successfully complete a competition.

Our Youth Weightlifting Club focuses on teaching proper technique not only for performance on the platform, but for longevity and injury prevention in the sport. 
By emphasizing quality movement, body awareness, and disciplined training habits, we help young lifters develop confidence, strength, and the skills needed to progress safely and successfully in Olympic weightlifting.

Wednesday 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Adult Weightlifting Team

The Bar Gym's Adult Weightlifting Team is a USAW Affiliated Club Team.

Our primary focus is the two classic competition lifts—the snatch and the clean & jerk—with detailed coaching to build precision, confidence, and consistency on the platform.
To support long-term progress and performance, training also emphasizes key accessory movements including push press, high-bar squats, and front squats. Every session is rooted in proper technique, smart progression, and athlete longevity, creating an environment where lifters of all levels can grow, compete, and succeed as part of a committed, team-driven community.

// Weightlifting Team is open to all levels //

// Weightlifting Team Training includes: //
  • 2 Team Clinics per week 
  • 24/7 Open Gym Access to The Bar The Gym.
  • Individual Weekly Programmed that is tailored to your goals. Program is send via email using Google Sheets so you have easy access to your program from your phone. 
  • Coach Feedback and Communication via Telegram where you can send your lift videos, ask advice on form and just do a general check-in on how your programming is going.
