Jessie Chamberlain
Licensed Massage Therapist
Jessica recently graduated from Harper Community College for Massage Therapy.
Harper College is one of two schools in Illinois to be accredited
by both the Higher Learning Commission and the Commission
on Massage TherapyAccreditation (COMTA). Jessica is also an
active member of the American MassageTherapy Association (AMTA).
She is certified in a series of massage modalities, such as
Swedish massage, deep tissue, cupping, sports massage,
and trigger point therapy and is proving these services
at The Bar Gym & Strength in East Dundee.
Jessica is on a mission to make her clients
feel great and pain free. Jessica understands
that massage is one of the best natural ways to
rid the body of aches and pains,
rather than the use of pain medication.
Massage gets to the core of the problem
by reducing inflammation, lactic buildup,
and scar tissue that accumulates inside
the body and along muscle fibers.
Such problems can prohibit range of motion
or impinged nerves causing tingling, pain,
or numbness. Continual massage sessions
can help with these problems, which in turn
allows the body to heal itself. Although massage
is an important aspect of overall health,
a day-to-day exercise and stretching regime,
as well as proper water intake is also essential
to allowing the body to live a pain-free lifestyle.
" Jessie is literally my saving grace. As an elite athlete, body work is at the top of my recovery list. If it wasn’t for her magic I couldn’t be the athlete I am now. I truly believe that without her I couldn’t push as hard as I do every week. I’ve never had a massage therapist that loves their job and healing bodies like Jessie does. She makes sure I’m a well oiled machine and I look forward to seeing her every week!" - Emily |
